Support Over the Water Hurdy Gurdy Association
"Thank you for your generous help and support.."

Helping out...

The OTW is a nonprofit educational organization (501 c3) formed to promote and foster knowledge about and use of the hurdy-gurdy, including music and dances associated with the instrument. You can help the organization in several ways such as volunteering and preparing for events such of the Over the Water Hurdy-Gurdy Festival and/or through donations to the organization.

Donations

Since OTW is a 501 3c, your donations are tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law (for more information see IRS Contributions information).

You can make your donation online using PayPal

Or send a check or money order via U.S. mail. See the mailing list in the Contact Us section.

OTW will send you an appropriate receipt to meet IRS requirements as a record of donation. Please keep in mind, for some charitable events, only a portion of the donation value is deductible (the exact value of the benefits will be identified).

Volunteering

As a not for profit organization, OTW relies heavily on volunteers to prepare for and help with the festival each year. If you would like to volunteer, please Contact us to find out how you can help.

By the way did you know you can deduct any out-of-pocket expenses you acquire in the course of volunteering - such as gas or bus fare to get to volunteer activities, however you can not deduct the value of your time or services.
